Obituary of William Thomas Barham III

Funeral services for Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Barham III are scheduled for 3 PM, Monday, May 12, 2025 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Francis Smith and Bro. Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Visitation with the family will precede the service beginning at 2 PM. Mr. Barham, a resident of Oak Ridge, LA passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2025 at the age of fifty-four. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Shepard "Brother" Barham and Elma Dean Thomas Barham, as well as maternal grandparents Anthony and Jettie Thomas, and paternal grandparents, Robert Erle, Sr. and Emma Shepard Barham. Survivors include his sister, Mary Katharine “Kay” Barham Ouellette, and husband David, of Oak Ridge, LA; niece, Brooke Michelle Layton Young, and husband Jonathan, and their children, Connor Barham Young, Cullen Layton Lowery, and Jaxson Shepard Young, of Oak Ridge, LA; nephew, Brandon Michael Layton and wife, Meghan, and their daughter, Emma Kate Layton, of Oak Ridge, LA; along with a special aunt, Shirley White, of Mer Rouge, LA.; as well as many cousins and friends. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Brian Barham, Richard Byrd, Austin Rookard, David Thomas, Don White, and Andy Womack. Honorary pallbearers are James Barham and Steve Thomas.
