Please share a memory of Gwendolyn Sue to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sue, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully departed this life on May 21, 2025, at her home, surrounded by the love of her husband, Arnold. Born on June 11, 1949, in Bastrop, Louisiana, to the late Jake and Zola Mae Musgrove, Sue lived a life defined by love, faith, and unwavering dedication to her family. She was a selfless mother whose greatest joy was nurturing her beloved children: Tracy, Natanya, Marissa, and Priscilla "Brittany." Her love knew no bounds and extended to her countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply. Sue shared 54 years of devoted marriage with Arnold, the love of her life. Their journey together was one of unwavering support, laughter, and love—an enduring testament to the beauty of a lifelong partnership. Above all, Sue's faith was the foundation of her life. As a devoted and baptized Jehovah's Witness, she found peace and purpose in her spiritual beliefs. (Baptism Date: April 17, 1974) Sue took immense pride in her career as a Specialist III in Corporate Security at CenturyLink, where her diligence, integrity, and commitment left a lasting impact. Sue is survived by her husband, Arnold, her loving children and their spouses (son Tracy and his wife Kristy, daughter Natanya and her husband Gerry, daughter Marissa and her husband Mihael, and daughter Priscilla), her lifelong friend and fur baby Violet of 17 years, her brother Butch and wife Dottie, her late brothers' wife Betty, and her extended family, all of whom will continue to honor her memory with love and gratitude. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Zola Mae Musgrove, her brother Phillip, her brother Vince and wife Kathy, and her brother Charles. Sue's kindness, wisdom, and boundless love will be deeply missed but forever remembered. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, strength, and grace that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her. The McCready family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the many friends, family, and loved ones who shared words of comfort during our time of loss. It has been such a blessing to have you here with us. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to donate.jw.org With Love and Blessings, The McCready Family.
