Memorial services for Mrs. Betty Castleberry are scheduled for 2 pm, Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Andy Myrick officiating. A time of visitation will take place Wednesday, prior to the service, beginning at 1 pm.
Mrs Castleberry, a resident of Mer Rouge, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the age of sixty-nine. She was the best wife and mother in the world, and a best friend to many who knew her. She was a strong woman who fought many health battles over an extended period of time. Mrs. Castleberry loved and adored her family and she will be missed dearly.
Those who preceded her in death were her parents, J.L and Janie Lowery; and her brothers, Jimmy Lowery and Loyd Lowery.
Survivors include her husband, Joel T. Castleberry; daughter; Angel Parsons, and husband Mike; son, Joshua Castleberry, and wife Laura; brothers, Gary Lowery, and wife Joyce, Steve Lowery, and wife Pam, Ray Lowery, and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Micah Parsons, Lily Castleberry, Lucy Castleberry and Jay Mulson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
