Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Ann Gibson Boykin are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, June 9th, 2025, in the chapel of Golden funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Boykin officiating. A time for visitation will be held from 1 PM until service time.
Mrs. Boykin a resident of Bastrop, passed away Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at the age of seventy-eight. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and the Northeast Louisiana Street Rod Association. She also enjoyed playing basketball and softball in high school and in other leagues.
Mrs. Boykin is survived by her daughter, Carissa Cerda of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren, Chad Cerda, Nicholas Cerda, Noah Cerda, Cabrian Cerda, Tyler Malott, Austin Malott; eleven great grandchildren and two nephews, Jerry Allen Coleman and wife Terri of Calhoun, LA and Douglas Michael Coleman of Bastrop, LA.
Mrs. Boykin is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Boykin; granddaughter Kendra Malott; great grandchildren, Claire Cerda, Olivia Williams; parents, Roy and Mary Gibson; sister, Mona Coleman and sister in law, Debbie Boykin Moore.
Serving as pallbearers are; Chad Cerda, Noah Cerda, Tim Boykin, Rodney Boykin, Tyler Malott and Austin Malott.
