Funeral Services for Mrs. Phyllis Arant Crawford are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday June 20, 2025, in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Mrs. Crawford, a resident of Monroe LA, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at the age of seventy-nine. She was a Christian and a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church. She was an avid music collector of all genres. Mrs. Crawford enjoyed movies, fishing, camping and traveling. She owned several fishing camps in Arkansas and Louisiana. Mrs. Crawford was a dog lover and avid Bible student. She had a B.S in Medical Technology. She was also employed by the US State Department in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Crawford also worked at Catahoula General, Morehouse General, and LSU Medical Center in Monroe, LA. She served her Internship at LSU/Ochsner's in Shreveport, LA.
Mrs. Phyllis is survived by her sister, Wilma Arant and niece, Amy Evans.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Rudolph and Beatrice Reynolds Arant; husband, James Crawford; sister, Mary Louise Arant Hodge; brother-in-law, Michael Wayne Hodge.
