Obituary of Faye Bryan Thomas

Graveside funeral services for Faye Bryan Thomas are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Thomas, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the age of ninety-six. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Oglesby of Monroe, LA, and Marilyn Carter Brown of Prairieville, LA; grandchildren, Sherry Kay Williams, Becky Tribe, Debbie Carter Jenkins, Shelia Pearson, Sandra Carter, Leslie Riner, Veronica Martins, Shawn Pace, Brandy Pace, Darren Oglesby; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by the father of her children, Eddie Bryan; parents, Emmit Pennington and Iva Dora Smith; children, Vadis Townsend, Freddie Bryan, and Joyce Stuart; siblings, Cliffee Oden, Mamie Wisecarver, Molly Dowden, Richard Pennington, Laurence Pennington, Don Pennington; and grandchildren, Nicki Dozier, Gia Stovall, Theresa Bryan, and Diane Townsend.
