Obituary of Patricia Gwin

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Gwin, age 72, are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA, with Rev. Dwight Fulton officiating. Services will be under the direction of Golden Funeral Home, Bastrop, LA. Mrs. Gwin, a homemaker and member of Bastrop United Pentecostal Church, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, and will be remembered as being the “spark” of the family. Mrs. Gwin enjoyed collecting frogs and had a great sense of humor, always having a comeback! She will be missed dearly. Mrs. Gwin is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Ronald Gwin; daughter, Jeannie Butler, and husband James; sons, Bryan Gwin, and wife Kelly, Tim Gwin, and wife Jana, and Chad Gwin; sister, Leathia Guice; brothers, Johnny Hite, and wife Barbara, and Christopher Hite, and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Savannah, Kaden, James, Austin, David, Judy, Stephanie, Noah, Chad, Ryder, Cole, Averlynn, Zoey, Arthur; and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Alfred Hite and Evelyn Lenora Hite; and one sister, Brenda Hennessy.
