Mrs. Pollard was a sweet, kind, gentle, well spoken, respected lady in all aspects of her life. She was a joy to all who knew her.

I was privileged enough to be in Mrs.Pollards first class in 1971. Bless her heart she had so much to deal with some of us recent high school grads, others starting a career after raising their children. I will never put on a pillow case without thinking of the method she taught us. She made such a contribution to my blessed life. If you knew her you loved her……and growing up in the neighborhood she wouldn’t allow koolaid if it wasn’t mixed with a can of frozen OJ. Thank you to the family for sharing her with us.

Oh the stories I have been told over the years of the "fence talk" that went on between Dr. and Ms. Pollard and my grandparents. They weren't just neighbors, they became family. The Pollard girls are still very fondly spoken of in my family. Dr. and Ms. Pollard were dear sweet people and they will never be forgotten. The Cobb family loves you all dearly.

So sorry to hear of Ms. Virginia's passing. I was a patient of Dr. Pollard and he also delivered me, and I will always remember Ms. Virginia being at his office, always gave me a hug, and sometimes a prize. She was a very kind lady.

Very sorry to hear of Mrs. Pollard's passing. I was one of her LPN students in 1976. She was absolutely the greatest nursing instructor. My sincere condolences.
