Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Richard Harrison are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, August 9, 2025 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Red Wing Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Saturday from 9 AM - 10 AM prior to service time.
Mr. Harrison, a retired butcher, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the age of eighty-one. He enjoyed his time fishing and loved all animals. Mr. Harrison was an animal rescuer.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy Richard Harrison and wife, Tammy of Doyline, LA, Stacey Harrison and wife, Wanda of Abilene, TX; brother, Billy Joe Harrison and wife Jo Ann of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Doug Slay and wife, Evelyn, and Chelsey Leonard; great grandchildren, Isabella Slay, Sophia Slay, Victoria Slay, Scarlett Slay, Julianna Slay, and Brinlee Leonard.
Mr. Harrison is preceded in death by his daughter, Jamie Slay; parents, Archie and Alice Harrison; brother, James Harrison; and sister, Emma Jean Graves.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Timothy Richard Harrison, and Stacey Harrison.
