Funeral services for Margaret Sisk are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Bonita Road Baptist Church, with Bro. Casey Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM.
Mrs. Sisk, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of seventy-nine. She loved her Lord and her family dearly. Mrs. Sisk also loved flowers and was known for having a “green thumb.”
She is survived by her children, Sherry Stange Sisk, Charles “Bud” Sisk, and wife Kitty, Gary Sisk, and wife Sondra; siblings, Opal Williams, Nadine Tyson, Jeanette Hernandez; grandchildren, Tiffany Sisk, Cliff Sisk; great grandchildren, Micah Snelling, Brayden Sisk, Honor Sisk, Saxton Sisk; and special aunt, Ruth Gunter.
Mrs. Sisk is preceded in death by her first husband, Donnie Sisk; son, Mark Sisk; parents, Clifton Smith and Lillian Bass Smith; and sisters, Dorothy Hernandez and Geraldine Stokes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Micah Snelling, Charles Owens, Jeff Philley, Matthew Roberts, Jamie Vines and Jessie Byron Farmer.
