Memorial services for Mrs. Linda K. Braswell, age 73, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, September 27, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. John McKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 AM.
Mrs. Braswell, a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025. She enjoyed watching the New Orleans Saints, spending time with her family and church family, swimming, and loving on her dog, “Lexie.”
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Braswell, Jr.; daughters, Trudy Graves, and husband Bill, Robin Nall, and husband Pete, Sherry Braswell, and husband Danny, Linda Nichols, and husband Daniel; son, David Braswell, and wife Lisa; son-in-law, William Scott; brother, Roy Smith, and wife Gay; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mrs. Braswell is preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Smith; daughter, Sheri Scott; son, Thomas Braswell, III; brothers, Herbert Smith, James Smith, Tommy Smith, and Jerry Wayne Smith; one granddaughter; and one great grandson.
