Obituary of Timothy Justin Gross

Memorial services for Timothy Justin Gross are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, October 8, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Rev. Trey Emory and Rev. Casey Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM. Timothy Justin Gross, known to many as Justin, was born on June 2, 1982, and passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of forty-three. Justin was Veteran, having served in the Army National Guard and was deployed overseas to Afghanistan. He loved fishing, gardening, baking, shooting guns, and spending time with his kids. You could often find him baking cakes with his daughter and playing video games with his son. He was an active member of Hyde Park Missionary Baptist Church, in West Monroe. Justin is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, William and Cleo Gross; maternal grandfather, Clark Bowen; and special grandparents, Hubert and Sue Aulds. Those left to honor and cherish Justin’s memory are his former wife and mother of their children, Erica Hughes; his son, Sullivan Banks Gross; his daughter, Finleigh Kate; his mother Karen Bowen Gross, his father Ricky Gross, his brother Josh Gross; his maternal grandmother, Mary Bowen; and special aunt and uncle James and Debbie Bullock.
