Obituary of Joshua Lee Cole

Funeral services for Joshua Lee Cole are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, October 10, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM. Josh passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of twenty-six. He was known for having a big heart and never meeting a stranger. He was a charmer and made friends easily. Josh loved sports of all kinds and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was deeply loved by his mother who will miss him dearly. Josh is survived by his mother, Lorie Cole; grandparents, Marshall and Carolyn Stephens; sister, Brittney Cole; aunts, Penny Shockey, Alicia George, and husband Barry, Jackie Richardson, and Carolyn Cole. He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Cole; grandparents, Billy May, Charles Cole, and Barbara Richards; cousin, Jessica Havens; and several aunts and uncles. Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Barry George, Jeremy May, Adam DeShazo, Carlos Serafin, Corey Parker, and Ricky Zurfluh.
