Obituary of Mirinda L. Stone

Mirinda L. Stone, also known as “Rin”, was born on January 26, 1948, and passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at the age of seventy-seven. She was born in Ironton, OH, and was a resident of Columbus, OH, and Louisiana for many years. Mrs. Stone was a retired store supervisor for the Salvation Army ARC who loved thrift shopping and visiting with anyone she came across! She will be remembered for having an infectious smile and never meeting a stranger. Mrs. Stone enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially cherished the times spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved by all and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her! Mrs. Stone is survived by her daughter, Christa Delph, and husband Robert; sister, Joan Kendall, and husband Roy; brothers, Darwin Vinson, and wife LaJane, David Vinson, and wife Donna, JC McPherson, and wife Toni; grandchildren, Lorna Delph, and fiancé Zak Breland, David Delph, and wife Hannah; great-grandchildren, Colson, Hudson, and Eli; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Mrs. Stone is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Stone; grandmother, Lorna Jones; mother, Betty McPherson; father, Darwin Vinson; brother, John Aaron McPherson; and great-grandson, Austyn R. Delph.
