Mrs. Patrick is a very sweet soul . She issued me my first drivers drivers license in 1972. She will be greatly missed by all who know and Love her, but only for a short time, until we meet again.
Praying for all during this difficult time,
Patrick Gillpatrick and family

Davey, Patty, Cheryl, & Family - I am so sorry for your loss. Ms Helen Ann was such a sweet lady. She and your dad were such great neighbors & friends to us during our time at White Ave. She always welcomed me over with that wonderful smile and Nilla Wafers and Coca-Cola anytime I walked over to visit. You will be in my prayers

Jerry & I are so sorry for your loss. Jerry grew up with Helen Ann & her family. I knew her after 1968. Didn’t see her often, but we asked about her through Billy, her brother.
May God give you peace within & know you will see her again in heaven.

Mrs. Patrick was truly a breath of fresh air in the neighborhood. I used to enjoy walking down the street to her house with my family whenever I could. Every Halloween as a kid, I remember that she and her husband, Mr. Patrick, would give us sugarcane sticks along with our candy. Haha. We thought they were cool! I used to love how she would sneak extra Reese's and Kit Kats into my pumpkin basket, too, because she knew how much I loved chocolate. I always loved how she would check in every time I would come home from college. She would sit in that recliner and talk about the times "back in her day," contrasting them with the current day, or tell me how she was proud of the young folks for achieving greatness, including her grandchildren. I will never forget those moments.
To Mrs. Helen Ann, you will truly be missed. Thank you for being a loving, spiritual, and caring neighbor. There will truly never be another like you. You were one of a kind. Fly high, angel.

I remember very well Helen Ann. She was one class behind me in school at Mer Rouge. Always enjoyed her infectious smile and how she did her work those years being the ‘Driver License Lady’!!! Many good memories of the entire Shepard family in the little Village of Mer Rouge.
