Funeral services for Carol Ann Grafton are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, November 21, 2025, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bernice, LA, with Bro. Steve Barrett officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM.
Mrs. Grafton, a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bernice, LA, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of sixty-eight. Nursing was her life’s passion. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over thirty years and loved taking care of her patients. Mrs. Grafton loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. She loved her family and adored her grandsons above all. Mrs. Grafton’s relationship to her Lord Jesus Christ was the priority of her life. Serving Him through the church brought her great joy.
Mrs. Grafton is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Sam Grafton; father, William Peter Lester; son, Daniel Grafton; sisters, Mary Preston, Linda Barr, and Janice Hall; brother, James Preston, and wife Veronica; and grandchildren, Ian Grafton and Kaden Grafton.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Vera Elizabeth Lester; daughter, Dana Carolyn Grafton; and sister, Maureen Bascom.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Lay, James Christian, Ian Grafton, Kaden Grafton, Jay Roberts, and Joey Neitz.
