Leonard Crenshaw, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the age of eighty-seven. He was known for being a hardworking man and had various jobs over the years including building houses as a carpenter and a truck driver. Mr. Crenshaw loved working on trucks and piddling.
Mr. Crenshaw is survived by his children, Ruby Stanley, Danny Crenshaw; siblings, Billie Faye Estep, Erlene Trichell; grandchildren, LaTasha Haygood, Justin Stanley, Chad Sosa, Amber Crenshaw, Kenny Lynn Jones, Crystal Simmons, James Creel, great-grandchildren, Malerie Burnham, Blaine Savage, Nathan Jones, Wyatt Jones, Rebekah Jones, Michael Simmons, Matthew Simmons, Braleigh Haygood; and numerous great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Lorine Crenshaw; second wife, Gennie Crenshaw; daughter, Alice Creel; parents, Cornelius and Viola Crenshaw; grandchildren, Angela Taylor, Brandon Stanley; and siblings, Fannie Mae Edmondson, Eloise Dumas, Verlene Wallace, Claire Coleman, and Cornelius Crenshaw.
