Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Murphy Hayes, age 89, are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Causey Cemetery, Bastrop, LA, with Bro. Dennis Hackler officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday morning, from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hayes, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025. She was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and she loved working outdoors and landscaping her home.
She is survived by her son, Kit DeWayne Hayes and Fiancé’ Sinae Faust and her son, James Faust and wife Helen; brother, Bobby Murphy and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Mrs. Hayes is preceded in death by her husband, DeVohn B. Hayes.
