Obituary of Fred Wesley Bryan

Funeral services for Mr. Fred Wesley Bryan are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday December 14, 2025 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post, Bro. Shelton Morgan, and Bro. Ron Volmar officiating. Interment will follow in LA ARK Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Sunday from 1 PM - 2 PM prior to service.
Mr. Bryan retired after forty years of service with John Deere. He was passionate about four things: Faith, Family, Music, and John Deere. Mr. Bryan was a member and Deacon at Collinston First Baptist Church. He was the Deacon, Sunday School teacher , and Minister of music at Bonita First Baptist for many years and also sang with the Holly Ridge Boys Quartet for thirty-seven years. Mr. Bryan enjoyed writing poetry and he served his community as a volunteer Fireman with the Mer Rouge Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Elizabeth Joan Crymes Bryan; daughter, Paula Bryan Isaksson; sister, Christine Shubert and husband, Wayne; brother, Wayne Bryan; grandchildren, Sean Bryan and wife, Jessica, and Megan Fischer and husband, Shaun; great grandchildren, Olivia Bryan, Milo Bryan, and Calloway Fischer.
Mr. Bryan is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Ruby Bryan; sisters, Laverne, Barbara, and Martha; brother, John Henry Bryan, Jr.; grandson, Michael Cain; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Bryan.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be John Alan Crymes, Anthony Lee, Dewayne Thompson, Pete Crymes, Keith Crymes, and Ronnie Crymes. Honorary pallbearers are Arthur Crymes, Mike Carnahan, Sean Bryan, Milo Bryan, Shaun Fischer, and Mack Vail.
