Lola was my idol!! She had the sharpest memory of anyone at 97 I have ever known, sharper than many at 67!! Her skin was creamy and beautiful and she was as kind as she was beautiful and those of us in Windsor Lakes miss her profusely!

I loved this lady. She was amazing. Her skin was gorgeous. Her mind was sharp all through her 97 years. Her two daughters Cathy and Mary Dale are my friends and I’m so sorry for their pain. Lola will be missed by me and everybody who knew her ❤️❤️

I first met Mrs. Rogers in about 1968 when Kathy and I became friends at LA Tech. Because of mine and Kathy's friendship, I had the privilege of acquiring the cherished friendship of her Mom and Dad for the rest of their lives. I visited with them in their
Bastrop home, their D'Arbonne Lake camp and in their West Monroe home. I had the great honor and privilege to, once again, have a great visit with Mrs. Rogers in her Conroe home back in June. Her home was always open to me.. but most of all.. her heart
was always open to me. She was fond of me and I was fond of her.. she loved me and I loved her. I have lost a great friend.
May the Grace of Our Lord be with Kathy, Mary and the entire Rogers family as they go through this season of her loss.

I didn't know Lola very long, however, I feel she was a gem to know. Her smiles, laughter and perseverance were evident. Paddington Way neighbors will miss her.

Mimi was like a second grandmother to me. Time spent at her house with her and Mr. Dale felt like home. They had a way of making everyone feel welcome—like family from the moment you walked in. I will always cherish her infectious smile and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She truly will be missed. With love, Adrian Mead

What a special lady. Lola adopted several of our friends and what a treasure that is for us. When Kathy and Mary were cruising, Lola, Vicki and I would eat at our favorite restaurants and especially the one that had free ice cream. Oh how I will miss that and her many “back when” stories. We love our Lola

Our family and the Rogers were friends my whole life. I remember going to their house, visiting with Monroe and Effie Ware, and playing until we were worn out with Mary Dale and Kathy. Lola was a wonderful, loving, giving person. She and I spoke several times on the phone over the past few years. Her beauty, inside and out, will remain in my heart forever. I can only imagine the reunion with all the members of the Ware deer camp! Lola will be missed by all she touched during her life. Hugs to Mary Dale, Kathy, her grands, and extended family.

Lola was such a lovely person. Since I first met her, she has been such a good friend, always with that big beautiful smile and always speaks when near.
That beautiful smile will be missed as well as our conversations about her wonderful daughters and i would share about my special daughter as well.
God bless, Kathy and Mary Dale.
