Obituary of Minnie Carson Smith Williamson

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Williamson of Bastrop, La. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Friday at Goldens. Mrs. Williamson passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the age of 92. She was a Godly woman who had a servants heart and was always at church until her health declined. She had been a beautician since 1964. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting, cooking and gardening. Mrs. Williamson is survived by her children, Becky Smith and Stanley Smith; step-children, Sharon Bradley and husband Alan, Sheila Allan, Lori Allen and husband Billy; daughter-in-law, Pamela Hebert Smith; grandchildren, TJ Tate and wife Brittany, Malcolm Tate, Adam Smith and fiancé Amy, Ethan Smith and fiancé Raquel, Jerrica Champagne and husband Lynn, Tabatha Phillips and husband Jonathan, Stan Smith and wife Jordan, Dustin Smith, Caitlin Flanagin and husband Spencer, Daren Allen, Greyson Allen; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends; best friend of 70 years Joy Shockley and caregiver Jackie Chambers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Williamson; son, Larry Smith, daughter, Jeanie Kay Smith; grandchildren, Kris-Tina Smith, Lana Sue Smith, Justin Smith and parents, William Stanley Carson and Ardell Carson. Serving as pallbearers are Terry Tate, Calvin Lusby, Tommy Sowyers, Jim Bob May and Vinson Stokes.
