Obituary of Cindy Rae Christy Farrar

Memorial services for Cindy Rae Christy Farrar are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Centerpoint Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA, with Bro. Kenneth Ronaghan officiating. Mrs. Farrar, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the age of sixty-seven. She was a member of the Baptist faith and worked as a Dispatcher for towing services. Mrs. Farrar was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed spending her days with her family, especially in the swimming pool, and loving on her furbabies. Mrs. Farrar is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, David Wayne Farrar; daughters, Brandy Brownlee and husband, T, Sonya Farrar Thomas and husband, Michael; sons, Brandon Ray Tidwell and wife, Sarah, David Allen Farrar and wife, Crystal; brother, Randy Christy and wife, Ilene; grandchildren, Scarlett Farrar, Victoria Brownlee, Natalie Tidwell, Kaylee Thomas, Allenah Farrar, A-Myah Farrar, Alivia Farrar, Rachel Thomas, Gabe Thomas, Hunter Tidwell, and Fisher Tidwell. She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Olivee Christy.
