Mrs. Spikes, a devoted homemaker, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the age of seventy-nine. She was a member of Pine Grove Community Church. She loved everyone, especially her family and beloved husband of 60 years. Mrs. Spikes’ life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and selflessness. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with home cooked meals and the sound of laughter. Nothing meant more to her than spending time with those that she loved.
Mrs. Spikes had a deep love for reading and writing, always eager to learn, reflect, and share her thoughts. She believed wholeheartedly that laughter was the best medicine, and her joyful spirit brought light to those around her. Yet alongside her laughter was a powerful and unwavering faith. A true prayer warrior, she carried the needs of others to the Lord daily.
Above all, she cherished her close relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which guided her steps and gave her strength throughout her life. Selfless, giving, and endlessly loving, her compassion touched many lives, and her kindness will never be forgotten
Her legacy of faith, love, and generosity will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
