Am so sorry to hear of the Passing of Terrell! It only seems like yesterday I would stop and get gas for my lawnmowers and him diesel for his big truck. Shared a many conversation with Him right there at Spillers Oil. Thing I like the most or I love the most about Terrell was the way he played the piano. I could’ve sat and listened to Him for hours! The very first time I met The Man he was playing the piano. No service people just said you can. I’m listening to Terrell Hawkins play this piano. This guy is good. They were seriously right about that! Sure, gonna miss Him! Love you, Sarah! So sorry! Will be praying for you girls and extended family!

Sara, I just heard that Terrell died from Jena (sister). I am shocked and sad and want to comfort you if possible now. My mind goes way back to when we were kids. I always wanted to be like Terrell; I even liked his name more than mine. I remember playing pick-up basketball at PawPaw's house, Larry, Kenneth, Richard, Irving, Terrell and me. He played basketball better than me; he could ski better than me; he played baseball better than me, and, I simply was in awe when he played the piano. So, I wanted to be like him. He was always good to me, though I was the youngest on the baseball team. We played on Sheriff's Dept together. I really liked Terrell.
Please find comfort in this truth:
"if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus" (1 Thess 4:14).

I'm so heart broken to hear this! I've known "Sweet T" for most of his life. I worked with his daddy and well remember him playing music at Delta Village way back in the '70's. Probably not many remember that but has always stuck in my mind. He's going to be always loved and remembered by his sweet nature and accomplishments.

My heart just fell when I saw Terrell had passed away. I remember him as a young adult with a God given talent of playing the piano. Know each one who loved him is in my prayers.
