Obituary of Mary Ann Foster Hadley

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Foster Hadley, age 91, are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 9 AM until 10 AM, service time Wednesday morning. Mrs. Hadley, a former telephone operator for Bellsouth Telephone Company, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026. Later, she achieved her associates degree and began her career as a Headstart teacher, from which she later retired. She is survived by her son, James Mark Hadley and wife Margie; sister, Carolyn Pruitt and her daughter, Pamela Hodge; grandchildren, Mitch Hadley, Will Hadley, Sarah Hadley; great grandchildren, Shannon Hadley, Tyler Hadley, Madison Hadley, Joshua Evans, Savannah Hadley, Aaron Hadley, Levi Hadley and one great-great grandson, Waylon Caughlin. Mrs. Hadley is preceded in death by her husband, James Hadley; son, Michael Brian Hadley; father, Fount Foster; mother, Hazel Foster Blake; brothers, Fount Foster, Marion Foster and sister, Laura Sirignano. Serving as pallbearers will be Mrs. Hadley’s grandsons and great grandsons, Mitch Hadley, Will Hadley, Tyler Hadley, Joshua Evans, Aaron Hadley and Levi Hadley. Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Stephens and Tommy Ratcliff. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at Lagniappe Healthcare and Elara Hospice.
