Stephen “Steve” Q. Del Rio, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the age of sixty-five. He was a member of Road Home Fellowship and a media member of SonLife Broadcasting. Mr. Del Rio loved the Lord with all his heart, truly having a servant’s house and always witnessing to others. He enjoyed car shows, riding motorcycles, and eating out with his brothers and friends.
Mr. Del Rio is survived by his brother, Gary W. Del Rio; nephew, Brandon J. Del Rio; great-niece, Lilly Del Rio; great-nephew, Gavin Del Rio; and best friends, Tony and Sandra Middleton; his goddaughter, Sydney Middleton; and best friend, Robin “Cat Man” Kottenbrook; aunts and uncles, Keith Stephens, Joan Pierce, Jeanette Wingate, Barbara Del Rio, Donald Ray Del Rio and Delores Del Rio Brown; as well as a host of cousins and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edna Mae Stephens Del Rio and Luther Joseph Del Rio; and sister, Debbie Sue Del Rio.
Memorial services for Stephen Del Rio will be held at 10:30 AM June 20, 2026, at Road Home Fellowship Church with Bro Jeffery Robinson officiating.
