Funeral services for Phyllis Ann Harper age 75, are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, June 4, 2026 with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 PM until 2 PM at Harmony, prior to the service. Mrs Harper, a resident of Bastrop passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church where she was very active serving in the Ladies Auxiliary, assisting with camps, as well as many other things. She graduated from Bastrop High School, where she participated in many extra curricular activities. In her younger years, she loved horses and enjoyed barrel racing. After having her children, she attended beauty school and worked as a cosmetologist for many years. Later, she became a certified nurses aid and worked in home health for many years. She loved her family dearly and was a constant presence in her children and grandchildren’s lives; from baseball games, softball games and dance, to awards ceremonies, she was there for all of it. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and made sure that her children and grandchildren did too. She is survived by her daughters, Angela Crawford Johnson, Amanda Crawford Ford and husband, Randy; brothers; Billy Harper, Jarvis Harper, Jerry Harper; grandchildren, Addison Boatright, Braiden Boatright, Aja Lowery, and Arika Lowery. She is proceeded in death by her parents, J.W. and Hazel Harper; daughter, Crystal Leigh Crawford; sister, Irma Nell Bush; granddaughter, Ashley Michelle Johnson and son-in-law, Michael Ray Johnson. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Dean, Dakota Dean, Tanner Harper, Jerry Neathery, Ashten Dean and Justin Harper.
