Obituary of DeLynn ODee" Battaglia

Funeral services for De'Lynn "Li'Dee" O'Neal Battaglia, age 18, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral with Rev. Tracy Ferris officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Battaglia attended Delta Junior High and Bastrop High school. He passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe. Mr. Battaglia is survived by his mother, Leighla Battaglia of Bastrop, LA; father, Derek Glosson; grandparents, Cindy Beach of Bastrop, LA, Elmer Battaglia of Farmerville, LA, Michael Beach, Gaddis and Carolyn Glosson of Bastrop, LA; great grandparents, Bill and Shirley Bell, James and Marlene Bethea; brothers, Edwin "Duke" Battaglia, Anthony "Bae Bae" Peoples, Jathan "JJ" Peoples, Calvert "Big Body" Johnson, K'Darrius Jackson; sisters, Aquarius Minnieweather, DeLexus Sims, Madison Glosson, Mia Glosson; Aunts, Selina and D.J. Jackson, Shakita and Trinez Glosson, LaShambria Robinson; uncles, Brandon Beach and wife Patchez, Zachary Beach, Arthur "Keeonna" Glosson; cousins, Makayla Battaglia, Natalie Farrar, Demetries Jackson, Tylan Beach and many other special family members and friends. He is preceded in death by great grandparents, Charles and Carrie Blood, A.C. and Inez Glosson and an uncle, Tylan DeLynn Beach. Serving as pallbearers are: Brandon Beach, Arthur "Boo" Glosson, Michael Blood, Tyree Davis, Tray McMillan, Duke Battaglia, Sammy Galvin, Jamari Williams and Kentraylun "Tray" Pates. Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Peoples.
