Graveside funeral services for Guirthrena Merck, 94, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dale Jordan officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, December 27, 2010 from 12 noon until 1 p.m.
Mrs. Merck, a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care.
She leaves behind her special friends, the Randy Bowen family and the Robert Perrault family.
Mrs. Merck is preceded in death by her husbands, Travis L. Fason and Woodrow H. Merck; parents, Frank and Mary Bearden; sister, Billie Bearden Coleman and little brother, John Frank Bearden, Jr.
