Obituary of Johnathan Nelson

Funeral services for Johnathan Stone Nelson, 28, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, February 21, 2011 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. James Prince officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Nelson is survived by his parents, Tony Nelson and Sarah Nelson of Bastrop, LA; paternal grandfather, Arthur L. Nelson, Sr. of Columbia, LA; maternal grandmother, Barbara Bailey of Ozone, AR; maternal great grandmother, Sarah Breed of Hollywood, FL; daughters, Kayla Hope Nelson and Annabelle Marie Nelson, both of Bastrop, LA; brother and best friend, Sean Nelson of Bastrop, LA; fiancee', Jessica Cooper of Bastrop, LA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Nelson and maternal grandfather, J.L. "Jake" Bailey. Pallbearers will be: Blake Lemmons, Byron Odom, Kody Johnson, Adam Yates, Joey Redden and Bubba Farrar. Jason Bailey and Ryan Wright will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
