Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Williams Flynn, a homemaker, age 90, of Bastrop have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the Golden Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Al Duncan officiating. Born in Milo, Arkansas, Mrs. Flynn moved to Bastrop in 1929, where she became a longtime member of First Baptist Church. She was a true believer in the power of prayer and hosted many prayer groups in her home throughout the years. In addition to being a homemaker, she also worked for the Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company as an agent for several years. Mrs. Flynn passed away Thursday, September 9, 2004 at the Hickory Manor Nursing Home. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Flynn of Bastrop; son, J.W. Flynn of Dallas, TX; sister in- law, Marie Williams; nephews, Terry Williams and Al Williams; nieces, Monica Williams Jordan and Kay Wolfe and several great nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.W. "Ted" Flynn; sister, Lila Mae Montcalm and brothers, Leon and A.G. Williams. Condolences may be mailed to Carol Flynn, P.O.
