Obituary of Louise G. Carpenter

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise G. Carpenter, age 78, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Carpenter, a homemaker and a resident of Fairbanks, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Carpenter's family was very important to her, she was very giving and would open her doors to anyone who needed her. She is preceded in death by her husband, B.A. Carpenter; her mother and step-father, Ethel Mae Deville and Obie Deville; her father, Stewart Green; and one brother, John W. Hall. Mrs. Carpenter is survived by three daughters, Linda Borden and husband Brice of Shreveport, LA, Betty Haile of Monroe, LA, Wanda Carpenter of Fairbanks, LA; a daughter-at-heart, Brenda Lewis; a twin brother, Louis Green of Sterlington, LA; four grandchildren, Angel Whittington and husband Lanie, Nikki Haile, Bridget Gober and husband Oz, Sommer Robinson and husband James; nine great grandchildren, Allison Willard, Bryant Whittington, Julia Whittington, Nicholas Whittington, Madison Whittington, Anna Gober, Emily Gober, Kacen Haile, Logan Robinson, Colton Robinson, Dakota Robinson; four half sisters, Linda Gray, Patsy Jones, Caroline Riddell, Shirley Anderson; and two half brothers, Huey Green and Randolph Green. Serving as pallbearers will be Oz Gober, Lanie Whittington, Sean Green, Wayne Green, Kenneth Carpenter and Stacey Savage. Honorary pallbearers will be Brice Borden, Wade Green and Brad Parks.
