Obituary of Rebecca "Becky" Boone Wilson

Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Boone Wilson, age 64, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Wooden officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilson, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Friday, September 8, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital. Over the years Mrs. Wilson held various jobs. She had worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart, a security guard at the Bond House, a nursery worker at First Baptist Church, and as an employee of Morehouse General Hospital. Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by a son, Scotty Hall, and her parents, Travis and Emma Boone. She is survived by her husband, George B. Wilson of Bastrop; son, Darren Hall of Bastrop; step-son, Bracey Wilson of Bastrop; brother, Ricky Boone and wife Joy of Bastrop; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Serving as pallbearers are Charles Sawyer, Conway Boone, Chad Wilson, Billy Stephenson, Curtis Adams, and Charles Wilson.
