Funeral services for Mr. Michael A. Kitchens, age 26, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010, in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby White officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kitchens, a resident of Bastrop and a sub-contractor, left us to go home on October 8, 2010. He was loved and will be missed by many family and friends.
Michael is preceded in death by one brother, Bryan Alan Kitchens; his grandparents, Kenneth Francisco of Pontiac, Michigan, Evelyn (Joann) White Francisco of Bastrop, Betty Wyatt of Collinston.
Mr. Kitchens is survived by his his mother, Karen Francisco of Bastrop, LA; father, Jay Alan Kitchens of Collinston, LA; wife, Brandy Lynn Bryan Kitchens; brother, Brandon Kitchens; two sisters, Jessica Kitchens Laing, Tabatha Kitchens; two nieces, Alexis Laing, Lacey Kitchens; and a grandfather, Arvelle Kitchens of Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stetson West, Dillion Johnson, James "Bubba" Johnson, William "Billy" Crook, Frank Carter and Bubba Church.
Honorary pallbearer is: Lil Wayne Richards.
