Memorial funeral services for Mr. George Albion Winkler, age 61, are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McDaniel officiating.
Mr. Winkler, a resident of Bastrop and a veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010 at his residence. He was a talented artist and loved electronics.
Mr. Winkler is survived by his father, W.O. Winkler of Bastrop, LA; sister, Beverly Winkler of Shreveport, LA; brothers, Dr. Terry Winkler and wife Janice of Springfield, MO, Kerry Winkler and wife Juana of Lake Wales, FL and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Claudia Winkler and his grandparents.
