Obituary of James Arthur Goodman

Graveside funeral services for Mr. James Arthur Goodman are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Garry Massey officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Goodman, age 55 and a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010. He was an employee of Morehouse Parish Highway Department. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gledon Goodman and Virginia Ruth Goodman; brother & sister-in-law, Wilbourne and Ann Goodman; nephew, Elvis Ray Bass; and niece, Annie Bass. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Goodman; sister, Lettie Barnes of Russellville, AR; brother, Raymond Goodman, Sr. of Bastrop, LA; sisters-in-law, Theresa Carr of Bastrop, LA, Sandy Ridley and husband Steve of Memphis, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Vance Goodman, Kenny Goodman, Ray Goodman, Jr., Mark Goodman, Johnathon Crews, and Rodger Phillips. David Conrad will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
