Obituary of Linda Diane Raspberry

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Diane Raspberry, age 51, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Kutz officiating. Interment will be in Hughes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Raspberry, a loving mother, who loved her family and pets, passed away, Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Oakwoods in Mer Rouge. She was employed as a security guard. Diane is survived by her father, Rev. Lloyd Townsend and his wife Hazel Andrews Townsend of Crossett, AR; her daughter, Jennifer Raspberry of Bastrop, LA; her son, Dustin Raspberry of Mer Rouge, LA; two sisters, Sherry Williams and husband Charles of Monroe, LA, Becky Tribe and husband Quint of Monroe, LA; three nieces, Courtney Tribe, Whitney Tribe, Hannah Tribe and three nephews, Ryan Williams, Jon Ross Williams and Landon Williams. She is preceded in death by her mother, Vadis Townsend. Serving as pallbearers are her nephews, Ryan Williams, Jon Ross Williams, Landon Williams, Casey Coley, Mark Coley and close friend, Monty Hudson.
