Obituary of Berlon E. Wallace

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Berlon E. Wallace, 88, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Todd Wooden officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Wallace, retired from Ford Bacon Davis Engineering Firm and member of First Assembly of God Church, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his residence. He also served his country in the Army during World War II. Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sarah Wallace; sister, Gloria Spikes and husband Jerry; brother, Willard Wallace; niece, Judy Roberts and husband Glen and many other nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by infant daughter, Janice Earline Wallace; siblings, Marlin Wallace, Blanche Hughes, Lucille Dopson and infant brother, all of Bastrop and parents, Tom Wallace and Minnie McIntyre Wallace. Serving as pallbearers are; James McNair, Norwood Harrison, Ron Henry, Wayne Wallace, T.W. Wallace and Dr. Carter Cox will serve as Honorary Pallbearer. Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
