Obituary of Louis Green

Funeral services for Mr. Louis Green are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Golden Funeral Home, with Rev. J. T. Wheat officiating. Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 5 - 8 PM, at Goldens. Mr. Green, a retired contractor, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 83. He is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Jean Green; daughter, Brenda Lewis; parents, Obie and Ethel Deville; sisters Louise Carpenter and Linda Gray; and brother, John W. Hall. He is survived by his son, Wayne Green, and wife Cindy, of Pineville, LA; brothers, William R. Green of Bastrop, and Huey Green and wife Evelyn, of Center, TX; sisters, Shirley Griffin of Pell City, AL, Carolyn Riddell and husband John, of Smackover, AR, and Patsy Jones of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Brad Parks and wife Leann, Sean Green, and Dusty Green; and great-grandchildren, Crosstin Green, Haley Parks, Jacob Parks, Krystyn Warbington, Seth Louis Johnson, and Walter Paul Johnson. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Bubba Kenley, Zach Kenley, Adam Kenley, Larry Kenley, Jimmy Stewart and Brice Borden.
