Obituary of Phillip Lynn Hall

Funeral services for Mr. Phillip Lynn Hall, age 48, are scheduled for 10 AM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Sunday, June 19 at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Hall, a resident of Bastrop, was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing. He loved all of his children and grandchildren, they were the light of his life. He is survived by his step-father, George Lewis; daughters, Linda Ann Hall and Tallie Samantha Leigh Hall; son, Matthew Slade Walker; sister, Rhonda Dozier; grandchildren, Bentley Kail Hall, Bryce Hunter Hall, Logan Wayne Walker and Emerson Slade Walker. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, Linda Gail Lewis and George Donald Hall; and grandparents, I.V. and Marion Barthol. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Scroggins, Tommy Sowyers, Robert Eppinette, Michael Wells, Ronnie Marsh, Eddie Ball, Bobby Mayo and Bobby Jackson.
