A memorial service for Mrs. Sharon Ann Lee Young Wagner, age 70, will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Hebron Baptist Church, Denham Springs, LA with Bro. Robin Moore and Bro. Destry McFearin officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 AM until 11 AM at the church.
Mrs. Wagner, a resident of Bastrop and formerly a longtime resident of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Monday, Septmeber 12, 2016. Mrs. Wagner was a current member of Greenacres Baptist Church and a longtime member of Hebron Baptist Church. She loved her children and her grandchildren were her life and she also loved to sew and cook.
Mrs. Wagner is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Lee, Sr.; brother, Leroy Lee, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Les Ivey.
She is survived by her mother, Elvy Louise Lee; daughter, Ashlee Lowery and husband Steve; son, Robert Young and wife Cheryl; sister, Penny Ivey and grandchildren, Christian Bennett, Joshua Bennett, Harley Young, Brianna Young, and Joseph Young.
The family would like to give special thanks to Cherry Ridge Guest Care and Premier Hospice for their kind attention to their loved one. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clothes Closet and Food Pantry of Hebron Baptist Church, 24063 LA 16, Denham Springs, LA 70716.
