Graveside services for Mrs. Wilma "Nell" Stewart, age 87, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, LA with Carmen Steigman officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stewart, a mother and homemaker, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016. Her whole life centered around her husband, children, grandchildren and extended family.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by a son, David Howell Stewart and wife Carmen Steigman; grandchildren, Logan Howell Stewart and wife Katie, Landon David Stewart and wife Heather, Lauren Elise Stewart, Rachel Leigh Stewart; one great grandson, Jace Matthew Stewart; and her caregivers and friends at Cherry Ridge Guest Care.
Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband, Harry DeWitt Stewart; and sons, Harry D. Stewart, Jim Scott Stewart, and Jerry "Win" Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home.
