Funeral services for Mr. Elmer "Pete" Davis, age 85, of Swartz, are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Loch Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Myrick and Rev. William Sikes officiating. Interment will follow in Loch Arbor Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday, November 16, at Loch Arbor Baptist Church.
Mr. Davis, a retired plumber, passed away Tuesday November 15, 2016. He was a member of Loch Arbor Baptist Church and was an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman. He loved his family dearly. He was one of a kind!
He is survived by his daughter, Ava Woodward and husband Bobby Joe; sons, Jerry Davis and wife Melinda, Terry Davis and wife Bonnie; sister, Shirley Bell and husband Billy; brothers, James "Bo" Davis and wife Cat, Robert Bentley Davis and wife Marilyn; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Davis; parents, Kemp Elmer Davis and Iva Ona Davis; daughter, Eva Davis; son, Pete Davis, Jr.; grandson, Justin Davis and six brothers and sisters.
Grandsons and friends will serve the family as pallbearers.
Mr. Davis' family would like to extend their heart-felt gratitude to Premier Hospice for the loving care provided for their loved one.
