Funeral services for Mr. Nathan Graves, age 72, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bishop Kelvin Copeland officiating. Interment will follow in Redwing Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Graves, a retired welder, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at his residence. He loved fishing and picking his guitar.
Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Graves; sons, Kevin Graves and Kurt Graves both of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Gena Lowery of Beekman, LA; sisters, Jeannette Hawthorne, Madaline Prater; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Eveline Hicks Graves; son, Keith Graves and brothers, Aaron Graves and Ottis Graves.
