Funeral services for Bradley Ryan West, age 32, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Wooden and Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. West was a loving father who adored his two children. They were his heart and soul. Brad was a hard worker who worked for many years for R.H.T.C. and received the award for most likely to fire the entire crew. Brad enjoyed working cranes and could climb a crane boom like a cat squirrel and swing a twenty pound hammer like a lumberjack swings an axe.

He is survived by his parents, Teri Lee and Dean Porter; grandparents, Euna Gaddy and Buck and Martha Porter; children Lexie West and Drake West; siblings, Amy Woodard and husband Bo, Stormy Evans and husband Douglas, Jimmy Lashaun West and wife Tessa, Jeff West and wife Molly, Justin West, Jason West and wife Paula; nieces and nephews, Chandler, June, Fern, Dakota, Cheyenne, Mason, Hanna, Courtney, Kayla, Sydney, Chandler B., Layton, Carlie, Trenton Lashaun, Kinlee, Gaige, Chase and Alec.

Mr. West is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy West; grandparents, Coot and Brenda Lee, and Thelma and William West; brother, Anthony Brent West; step-sister, Mendy Landsdale.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Shane Lee, Jarrod Harrington, Bo Woodard, Douglas Evans, Jarrod Jacob, Jacob Bolin, Lance Knight, and Chris Nugent. Honorary pallbearers will be, Charles Owens, Todd Herrington, Mike Edmoundson, Brandon Beach, Ed Haltom and Chad Lingefelt.
