Memorial funeral services for Mr. Daniel Glynn Freeman, age 62, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, October 22, 2017 at The Anchor Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Rick McAdams officiating.

Mr. Freeman, a musician and member of The Anchor Missionary Baptist Church, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017, in Bastrop.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Patricia Freeman; sons, Lance McGurk and Guy McGurk; sisters, Lea Sullivan and husband David; Lea's grandchildren and great grandchildren; Amanda Freeman, Kailey Goodson, Lanie McGurk, Aleah McGurk, Cody McGurk, Dalton McGurk and Caleb McGurk and one great granddaughter, Kenzlie Goodson; cousin, Betty Austin; and niece, Sherry Sanders and husband Tommy.

Mr. Freeman is preceded in death by his parents, John Darrell and Clara Odessia Carter Freeman.
