Obituary of Karen S. Pena

Karen S. Pena, age 63, of Panama City Beach, Florida, (formerly of Bastrop, LA) went to be with the good Lord and His Angels on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

A graveside service will begin at 10 AM on Monday, November 6, 2017, at Christ Church Cemetery. Rev. Dalyn Helbling from First Church of God will be officiating. 

Karen was a member of First Church of God for most of her life, until moving to Florida four years ago. She then became a member of First Baptist Church in Panama City.

She was a retired administrative assistant, and continued with her hobbies of painting, cross stitch, and watching LSU and Saints football games.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Smith, Jr. and Jimmie Doris Smith; and her brother, Michael B. Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy Pena; aunt, Betty Sisson; and cousins, Michelle Sisson  and Jennifer Soper; and her many friends from church.
