Obituary of Mark E. Lachney

Memorial services for Mr. Mark E. Lachney are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM Wednesday.  Mr. Lachney passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his residence in Bastrop, at the age of fifty-six.  He was a great care-giver to his family and others.  He was a member of the West End Church Of God In Christ.

Mr. Lachney is preceded in death by his parents, John T. and Joyce Lachney, and his sister, Mary Lachney.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Lachney; daughters, Gloria Young and Edith Lachney; sons, William Floyd, Alvin Young, and Travis Beaubouef and wife, Loraine; grandchildren, Mendi Cabrales, Madison Beaubouef, Isaiah Beaubouef, and Gavin Beaubouef; and a host of nieces and nephews.
