Funeral services for Mrs. Eunice Sherman, age 85, are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Sherman was a retiree of Hickory Manor after twenty years of service and a resident of Bastrop. She was born March 28, 1932 in Monticello, AR  and  passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. Mrs. Sherman was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary Post # 2277.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Kimball and Randy of Bastrop, LA; son, Danny Jordan and Ann of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Fannie Shults and husband Cal of Mesa, AZ, Mable Allred and husband Dale of Overguard, AZ; grandchildren, Melody Kimball and Shane , Sherman Kimball, Christy King and husband Michael, all of Bastrop, LA, and Dewanna Atkins and husband Ronnie of Mer Rouge, LA; great grandchildren, Taylor Atkins, Corey Atkins, Corban Sims, Gracee Kimball, Hayley King, William Spradlin, Christy Laing, Austin Herrington, Cameron Brown and Hunter Capels.

Mrs. Sherman is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Sherman; parents, Sims and Clara Morgan Hudson; brothers, Richard Hudson, G.W. Hudson, Henry Hudson; sisters, Ruby Larkin, Joyce Turnbow and Lena Milam.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Johnny Cherry, Michael King, Shane Sims, Ronnie Atkins, Scott Eldridge and Cole Smith.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 5 PM - 8 PM at Goldens.
