Obituary of John H. Johnson

Graveside services for Mr. John H. Johnson, age 75, are scheduled for Monday May 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. A. J. Fulton officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday May 29, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson, a resident of Mer Rouge, was a retired carpenter and a member of United Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, T.J. and Lois Johnson, sister, Mary Carney and daughter Elizabeth Ann Johnson. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Dorothy Johnson, three sons, John Calvin Johnson of Bastrop, LA, Grady Johnson of Texas, Michael W. Johnson and wife Lisa of Collinston, LA; one sister, Joyce Goleman of Collinston, LA; one brother, T.J. Johnson, Jr. of Slidell, LA; six grandchildren, John Johnson and wife Kristy, Nick Johnson and wife April, Crystal Brown and husband Shane, Tara Johnson, Cassie Johnson, Amber Wimbish and husband Brad; ten great grandchildren with 2 on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
